Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women, and the vast majority of cases are treated with anti-estrogen endocrine therapies. While these therapies significantly reduce the risk of breast cancer recurrence, they also carry the potential risk of cognitive impairment. Emily’s research is focused on understanding differences in the cognitive side-effects associated with various endocrine therapy options in order to assist women with breast cancer in making informed treatment decisions.
