Fall Advocacy Package 2026

Each year, CFUW's Policy Session brings members together to shape the organization's advocacy priorities. This year, members adopted two resolutions addressing critical issues: educational access for women and girls in Afghanistan and the growing impact of disinformation in Canada.
These resolutions reflect CFUW's commitment to education, human rights, and a strong, informed democracy.
The Fall Advocacy Package is designed to help turn policy into action. Inside, you'll find background information, educational resources, implementation ideas, advocacy tools, template letters, and social media graphics to help clubs and members raise awareness and engage decision-makers on these important issues.

Whether you're looking to learn more about the issues, start a conversation within your club, or take direct advocacy action, the Fall Advocacy Package offers practical resources to help you get involved. We encourage every member to explore the package and discover ways to make a difference in their community.

Advocacy can begin with a single action. Download the Fall Advocacy Package, share it with your club, and use the tools provided to support CFUW's collective voice for positive change.

Download the template letters below, personalize them to your local context, and send them to your elected representatives:
