Annual General Meeting & Conference
Each year, CFUW members from across the country come together for an Annual General Meeting and Conference. The event spans several days, combining a mix of workshops, speakers, business (e.g. resolutions, finance reports, etc.), networking, and fun.
The dates and location of the AGM and Conference change each year, but are usually held in mid-July. The Annual General Meeting consists of two formats:
- Odd years are held virtually
- Even years (Board Elections) are held in person

2026 CFUW AGM & Conference
Mark your calendars! CFUW (formerly Canadian Federation of University Women) is excited to announce that the 2026 Annual General Meeting and Conference will take place in beautiful Montréal, Quebec, from July 20 to July 24, 2026.
This year’s theme, “Moving Forward Together – Optimisons Nos Forces,” reflects our commitment to collaboration, strength, and progress as we look to the future.
Registration opens January 14, 2026 – stay tuned for more details on sessions, speakers, and accommodations.

Overview of the schedule of AGM and Conference
(To assist in booking travel plans)
Monday, July 20: Arrival and registration (recommended if attending a LAC tour/activity on the Tuesday)
Tuesday, July 21: Arrival and registration / LAC Tours (Morning, Afternoon and Full Day Tours will be available. More information to come soon.) Opening Ceremony and Dinner
Wednesday, July 22: AGM and Member Led Sessions / Charitable Trust Dinner
Thursday, July 23: Conference Day - Keynotes, Workshops, and Speaker Panel / LAC Dinner
Friday, July 24: Policy Session (AM) - Closing ceremony and remarks/Lunch.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are running for a Board position for the 2026-2028 biennium, the first Board Meeting will take place early afternoon on Friday, July 24th after lunch.
